Electric vehicle batteries will be more durable when installed in this way

The battery is the core component of an electric vehicle. The quality of the battery directly determines its lifespan and mileage, but some batteries are "killed" in advance due to improper installation.

However, many customers, who need to replace the battery of electric vehicles, will only ask the price when they go to the after-sales repair shop, as long as the price is cheap. Good installation technology can make the battery have normal life, and can eliminate possible safety hazards.

Before battery installation

Due to the long-distance transportation before the battery arrives at the store, bumps on the way are inevitable. Therefore, before installation, check whether the battery is damaged or leaking, and clean the surface of the battery with a dry cloth. If the battery casing is found to be broken and leaking, it should be replaced immediately, so as not to cause acid corrosion to the battery box, connecting wires, etc.

When the battery is installed

1. When installing the battery, it should be placed upright, not upside down. At the same time, it should be shock-proof, pressure-proof, waterproof, and installed firmly. Flame-retardant materials should be padded between each battery to avoid collision and friction during use;

2. The battery will release gas. In order to ensure safe use, the battery box in which the battery is installed must have ventilation holes and must not be blocked to prevent the gas generated by the battery from accumulating in the battery box and causing a dangerous accident;

3. The connecting wire of the battery should be installed tightly, and the battery box that is too large cannot be used, and the tin soldering cannot be cold solder join. It is better to gently pull it by hand. In addition, the wire cannot press the battery to ensure that the battery will not be loose after installation;

4. After connecting the battery, use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the battery output port. The actual voltage of the battery is slightly higher than the marked voltage by 2~5V, so that it can operate normally;

5. At the end of installation, check the power off of the brakes, debug the brakes to check the rolling resistance forward and backward, inject oil in the movable joints at key parts, and check the air pressure and tire pressure to ensure safe travel.

When finishing installation and work

1. When the electric vehicle is running, do not charge it after the battery is exhausted. Once the battery is exhausted, turn off the power supply and do not use the "recovery voltage" of the battery to force the drive, in order to prevent the phenomenon of shortened battery life caused by "over discharge";

2. If the electric vehicle is not used for a long time, it is necessary to fully charge the battery before laying it aside. It is strictly forbidden to lay it aside for a long time in the state of power loss;

3. If the battery is continuously charged for more than 10 hours, the charger still does not change the light, and the battery is hot, it should be forbidden to charge immediately, and it should be handled by the battery after-sales service. It is strictly forbidden to continue charging without changing the light.
