How to group the batteries of electric vehicles?

1. About battery grouping

Grouping conditions: the static voltage of new batteries used for grouping shall not exceed 0.03V, and that of turnover batteries shall not exceed 0.05V. When the battery is fully charged and is standing for 8 hours, the discharge time of the new battery at 25 ℃ is as follows: for 20AH battery, 125 minutes of discharge at 10A is standard; for 12AH battery, 125 minutes of discharge at 6A is standard; for 32AH battery, 200 minutes of discharge at 10A is standard; for 45AH battery, 300 minutes of discharge at 10A is standard; 110 minutes is the standard for turnover battery. Note that the turnover battery with the highest recovery voltage is likely to be the worst


2. Calculation of electric vehicle driving mileage

The driving mileage of electric vehicles is mainly related to the battery and motor. When we buy electric vehicles, we will get some parameters. For example, the unit of motor power is W, and the battery mainly has two parameters, one is voltage, the unit is V, and the other is the battery capacity, the unit is ampere hour.

Electric vehicle driving mileage (ideal) = voltage× Ampere hour ÷ motor wattage× average speed

In actual use, can electric vehicles really run that far? Of course not. In addition to the battery and motor, the electric vehicle controller, tires, vehicle-mounted electrical appliances, load, temperature and so on will affect the electric vehicle driving mileage. For example, as the temperature drops, the endurance of electric vehicles will also be affected. When the temperature drops below 10 ℃, the storage capacity of lead-acid battery will be reduced by 20%, and the storage capacity will be reduced by 30% or more if it is below 0 ℃.

3. About addition of battery repair fluid

For 20A battery deep discharge, discharge voltage is between 3V and 8V, after deep discharge, add repair fluid and then charge fully.

The purpose of deep discharge is to remove sulphuric acid crystals on the surface of battery plate.

The 12Ah battery is discharged with 3A, until the voltage is lowered to 3V; 20Ah battery is discharged with 5A, until the voltage is lowered to 5V; the 32Ah battery is discharged with 7A, until the voltage is lowered to 7V; the 45Ah battery is discharged with 10A, until the voltage is lowered to 10V. During the period, the static voltage is 11V, the time is 8 hours, and then it can be charged and then discharge fully, the repair fluid can be added at any time.

The steps of adding battery repair solution are as follows: 1. Open the cover plate and take off the vent cap; 2. Add liquid with syringe, do not use needle. Add liquid according to measurement. After adding liquid, keep still for 4 hours for deep discharge. Discharge according to model!
