BETTER actively responds to the invitation of Kenyan customer to hold a charity fundraising event for caring eyesight health

Recently, Better received a donation invitation letter from a Kenyan customer. The letter stated that they will jointly launch the "Vision Health Care Public Welfare" fundraising activity with the local authoritative eye hospital, with a donation amount of 40,000 US dollars. They expressed the hope that more caring enterprises and caring people will participate in the charity donation activities.

According to the letter, this public welfare project was originated from the personal experience of the CEO of Kenyan customer with retinal detachment. This incident has changed his perception of vision, so he hopes to contribute to the fundraising activities together with the local authoritative eye hospital. All the money raised from the fundraising will be handed over to the local authoritative eye hospital to buy more portable eye scanning cameras and caring cars to help more people find vision-related problems early, with a view to saving the eyesight of thousands of people.

Once the matter was announced, all the employees of Better expressed their support. On May 6th, Better held a charity donation activity with the theme of "One World, Unbounded Love" in the lobby of the company. The employees responded positively, donated generously, and extended a helping hand to donate love.

Ms. Wei, the president of the company, said, "The best kindness is like water, and great love knows no bounds", which has always been the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. While practicing the corporate mission of "Let Made In China Beautify the World" and the corporate values of continuously creating more value for customers, the company always bears in mind the responsibilities of Chinese companies, and realizes the links with companies from all over the world through products, services and projects, and build a bridge of friendly cooperation between China and foreign countries with love and technology. The Kenyan customer launched the "Vision Health Care Public Welfare" fundraising activity, which coincides with the company's public welfare concept of "focusing on social welfare and social responsibility", and it also coincides with the "World Red Cross Day" on May 8th. At the same time, this charity fundraising event organized by the company is even more meaningful. Ms. Wei also said that the company's customers are from nearly 100 countries around the world, most of which are along the "One Belt One Road". Most of these countries are also facing problems such as low level of economic development, backward infrastructure, and low utilization of resources. Especially under the impact of the recent new crown epidemic, natural disasters, armed conflicts and other issues, our small acts of kindness  may be a lot of energy for them. Therefore, in the operation and practice in recent years, the company has continued to combine its own actual and overseas experience, and has made many efforts in philanthropy. The company has organized and participated in many public welfare activities such as donation of epidemic prevention materials, donation of warm winter living materials, and love to help farmers in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya, Malaysia, Iran, South Korea, India and other countries. The total donation amount exceeds one million yuan.
